Milling-Lathes Doosan SMX
Doosan's best-selling milling lathe lineup has been expanded with a new piece, the next generation SMX 3100 series.
With its new ergonomic and orthogonal design, Machines received a number of prestigious RED DOT Product Design Awards in 2013. The series of machines have impressive Specifications, are equipped with a 12-inch chuck (for 102 mm bars), an automatic tool changer for 40 and 80 positions (Capto C6), Y-axis 300 mm (+/- 150 mm), 240 degrees B-axis and the possibility of milling (12,000 rpm).
The SMX 3100 is equipped with a tailstock and the SMX 3100S is equipped with an auxiliary spindle (4000 rpm).
Both models have a maximum turning diameter of 660 mm and a turning length of 1540 mm.
